Fatal error in \cache\...\navbar.tpl.php

Postby Peacemaker » Thu Dec 26, 2013 10:55 am

Hello,

after upgrading database I get this error in User Home

Fatal error: Call to a member function getSetting() on a non-object in ...\cache\t_compile\%%EC^EC1^EC1C53D0%%navbar.tpl.php on line 48

Unfortunately I can't clear cache, because the administration menu isn't working. Other parts of user menu (on journal level) seem to be working.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

I run OJS on Wamp server, PHP 5.4.12

Thanks for any reply.

Sincerely

Peacemaker

Hi Peacemaker,

You can try flushing your cache manually by deleting all .php files in the cache/ subdirectory. If your flie permissions are set correctly, these files should be regenerated as required. If you don't see them getting generated, or you get a blank page or something similar to that, double-check your file permissions. (I'd suggest also flushing the .php files from cache/t_compile -- same applies as above.)
