What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Reformat Abstract Page

Postby davidsorfa » Tue Dec 17, 2013 5:19 am

I know that this is a quite trivial matter, but I just can't seem to find how to control the formatting of the abstract view page in 2.3.7. For instance:

All I want to do is change the text that says:

Full Text: PDF

To a more prominent style, such as <h1></h1> or whatever.

I've been searching for days to find the bit of the OJS code that controls this bit of formatting, but I just can't. Any help much appreciated.

Hi David,

Assuming that you haven't modified your OJS installation, have a look at the file at templates/article/article.tpl, starting on line 88. That's a foreach block that loops over the various galley links and builds the things like 'full text' and 'pdf'. You can wrap those elements in other HTML tags to do what you want.
