Request for a little translation assistance

Postby sqro » Sat Jul 20, 2013 2:06 am

At this moment I am updating the Polish language files for OJS to v. 2.4.2 . But I am stuck with a single but crucial (and damn) word 'galley'. Why? Because polish language is less flexible with the semantics and slowly adopts new word meanings thus 'galley ' has two strict publishing and printing related meanings: a device carrying fonts and a proof copy, and no other.

Originally they were translated by Ewa Rozkosz and Łukasz Szmigiel but they managed to avoid using its literal translation in smart wyas but now there it is used explicitely in language files as a class of terms described as themselves. For example:
<message key="editor.issues.galleys">Issue Galleys</message>
<message key="editor.issues.galley">Issue Galley</message>
<message key="editor.issues.viewingGalley">Viewing Issue Galley</message>
and so on...

I would need therefore some assistance of a native speaker familiar with OJS. What synonyms would You use for galley?
According to my moderate English language experience it could be: a set, a pool, a folder
[edit] a collection [/edit]

or something else but I am definitely not certain about it. Maybe translators to other languages had the same problem as I have

Any help would be appreciated.
