What to do if you have a technical problem with OMP:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OMP Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OMP Development subforum.

Series page empty

Postby stefan » Wed Jan 22, 2014 1:10 am

Hi,

In a descriptive text I want to link to the available series. I guess the link would be http://langsci-press.org/catalog/series/, but this page is empty. Could this page provide a (numbered) list of series? Would be great.

Best

Hi Stefan,

Have you checked your PHP error log? Usually a blank page indicates a PHP error.

Hi Stefan,

What does line 128 of pages/catalog/CatalogHandler.inc.php in your installation look like?

$publishedMonographs =& $publishedMonographDao->getBySeriesId($series->getId(), $press->getId());

I guess this is the problem. We have nine series and three monographs that are in the catalog, but none of them is available as PDF. Maybe this is the reason.

Hi Stefan,

Hmm, this means that either the $press object or the $series object don't exist in the PHP code. I suspect it's the $series object in this case. Can you double-check that the URL you're viewing contains -- at the end of the URL -- the "path" to the series you want to view? This is entered into the form on the page where you create series.
