What to do if you have a technical problem with OMP:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OMP Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OMP Development
Sometime ago I asked for a way to sort the series (listed under browse series). I think the same applies to categories. Is there a way to order them alphabetically?
I guess a good feature would be a graphical interface that lets users sort the categories with drag and drop. Wordpress has something like this. Linguists are used to a certain order (Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics), which does not correspond to an alphabetic order. So having a possibility to define this order would be great.

Added for release in OMP 1.1 -- see http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8508
. This will be a tough one to back-port to OMP 1.0, so I'd suggest waiting for OMP 1.1.
