smarty tags not working

smarty tags not working

Hello,

We have tried to customize the prepare e-mails however some of those smarty tags do not work.For example, in the director assignment e-mail we use the following format:
Code: Select all
Paper Title: "{$paperTitle}"
Conference: {$schedConfName}

Kindly assign 2 Reviewers for the above paper latest by  {$weekLaterDate}.

You can manage the review process by clicking on the following link:
{$submissionUrl}
Your Username for this conference is: {$directorUsername}


However, the tag {$weekLaterDate} appears as is and does not convert into a date. similar issues are seen with some other e-mails too where in tags {$locationCity} and {$conferenceDate} don't convert as desired. Please help.

Hi John,

Unfortunately, not all tags are available to all prepared emails -- and it's not very easy to tell which tags are available in which email. We do have a long-standing bug report that will hopefully address this soon when resolved. Please feel free to CC yourself to that report for future updates.
