Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

A conference has been posted and scheduled on our conference website http://www.africanethnomedicines.net/ocs/ which could not be viewed. I checked the forum by searching but could not resolve the problem. Also, a click on an earlier configured site after editing could also not be viewed. Please help.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello,

What I did was similar to an earlier post by Michael Strait
"After entering Conference Title, Description, and path, and checking to make
sure "Enable this conference ...." was checked, I clicked on the Save button
and got a blank page. I did this starting from scratch three different times
with the same result. In this particular instance, the path I entered was the
year, 2008."

But there was no error message, and two other conferences can be displayed from the main Conferences page.
If there was any memory limit problem what do I do?

Hi cadewumi,

You will have to ask your system administrators to follow the instructions regarding blank pages here.

Cheers,
James

Hi cadewumi,

You should just be able to delete any malformed cache files and try to view the conference again. You can clear your cache files from your System Administration User Home page (if you have access to it): see this page in the userguide for more information. You can also just manually delete the file from your server if you want, via either FTP or SSH.

Cheers,
James
