OCS 2.3.3.1 - Reviewer cannot Edit or Delete comments

Hi.
Login as reviewer, seeing Submission To Be Reviewed [ .../reviewer/viewPeerReviewComments/421/460 ]
Trying to Edit a comment (for author or for director) [ .../reviewer/editComment/421/99?reviewId=460 ], result:

Fatal error: Class 'HandlerValidatorSubmissionComment' not found in /var/www/ocs/pages/reviewer/SubmissionCommentsHandler.inc.php on line 86

Trying to Delete a comment (for author or for director) [ .../reviewer/deleteComment/421/99?reviewId=460 ], result:

Fatal error: Class 'HandlerValidatorSubmissionComment' not found in /var/www/ocs/pages/reviewer/SubmissionCommentsHandler.inc.php on line 145

For the moment I resolve the situation deleting comment's register on paper_comments table, and asking reviewer to write them again...
Does anyone know why this is happening ?

Hello all,

On my OCS 2.3.3-1 this patch did not apply.
My ocs2/classes/handler/Handler.inc.php states:

import('handler.validation.HandlerValidatorConference');
import('handler.validation.HandlerValidatorSchedConf');
import('handler.validation.HandlerValidatorRoles');


The patch files states:

Code: Select all

 import('lib.pkp.classes.handler.PKPHandler');
 import('classes.handler.validation.HandlerValidatorConference');
 import('classes.handler.validation.HandlerValidatorSchedConf');
+import('classes.handler.validation.HandlerValidatorSubmissionComment');


Maybe the additional role validation is throwing the patch file off?
Can I apply this manually?

Hi Ramon,

It looks like you are missing a previous patch or set of patches -- likely http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5256. If you look at the history of Handler.inc.php here, you'll see that jerico modified Handler.inc.php in the following way. You'll need those changes added to the file for the patch to apply cleanly, but you should probably ensure that all relevant components of Bug 5256 (both lib-pkp and ocs) are applied. I'm not sure why Bug 5256 isn't listed on the Recommended Patches page; I'll ask Alec.
