new user account setup - author role

Attm we are setting up an abstract only director reviewed conference. I'm trying to figure out how authors can enroll themselves. At this point the only option in my new user account setup is "reader". Thanks in advance, soj

Hi soj,

Nope, this forum is just fine. Have you configured the Author registration dates from Conference Management -> Conference Timeline? You'll have to set the dates for when visitors can register as an Author for them to be able to do so.

Yea! So simple! We did, but neglected to set author close date in the future- duh! THANK YOU!
