Record Director Decision unrecorded!

Hi all,
I can not understand why sometimes director decision whom were recorded were unrecorded. For exemple I see that "invite presentation decision has been recorded on 2009-12-10: "Decision Invite Presentation 2009-12-10" but now I can record another decision. Can someone tell me what is doing that?

I forgot to say that is very ennoying because it change submission status from "Awaiting upload" to "Abstract in review"

Hi ponsfrilus,

We allow for the repeated overwriting of Director decisions in case the Director changes her mind. I am not aware of a bug or situation where a decision cannot be recorded, but a decision might not be completed until the Author has been notified by email (below the Director decision box).

Yes, in fact the email with the decision was sent (I can show it in the email list by clicking the small icon right the dropdown in the decision page).

What I found is that the status, submission_progress and the current_stage in the database evolve the following way:

Awaiting assignment and Abstract in review: status=1, submission_progress=0, current_stage=1
Awaiting upload (decision recorded): status=1, submission_progress=3, current_stage=2

Is there a corresponding code page for theses status?

Hi ponsfrilus,

Are you sure you haven't tried any other sort of directorial decision on the submission -- for example, requesting a re-review? And which version of OCS are you using?

I'm not sure now but I thing I set directely the status in the database without having the notification sent or skiped.
