"Revisions required" in "Paper Review" Stage [Error?]

Hi,
We are running OCS 2.1.2.0 in "abstract followed by presentation" mode.
Actually, we are in the "Paper Review" Stage. (abstracts previously submitted by authors are accepted)

If the Track Directors set "Revisions required" (as Director Decision) in the "Paper Review" Stage section (clicking the "Record Decision" button), the Full paper submitted backs to Abstract stage. Is this correct?

Then, in the "Active Submissions" screen, the author see: "Abstract in Review: REVISIONS REQUIRED", but its wrong because the abstract is ok, (the required revisions are only for the full paper).

So... how we can set "revisions required" mode to a Full paper Submit?

We also dont know how to send the revisions sugested by the reviewer to the authors.

Hi all,

To send the Reviewer's Author-intended comments to the Author, you can click the Import Peer Review button while editing the Notify Author email. Regarding "Revisions Requested" submissions being sent back to Abstract Review: this has been fixed in 2.3, see http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4481.

Hi ponsfrilus,

The upgrade process is as safe as you make it -- that is, follow the instructions, make a backup, do a dry-run and testing, and you shouldn't be surprised. We'll be releasing OCS 2.3.1 shortly, I believe by the end of this week -- this version will be considered stable. Might be best to wait for it.

Ok, I haven't had the time to check yet, but I know I am facing this problem:

$usr: php tools/upgrade.php check
Code version: 2.1.2.0
Database version: 2.1.2.1
Latest version: 2.3.0.0
Database version is newer than code version!

I will try to get the 2.3 code from CVS to test a dry-run upgrade and see what happend.

Mmmh, it looks like the problem still persists:
The stage is now the correct one (paper, not abstract) but there are no ways to the author to submit the revised file

Any idea?

Hi ponsfrilus,

The Author should be able to see an option to Upload Author Version from the Paper Review page, under Director Decision. You'll have to make sure the notification email from the Director regarding the Paper Review Director Decision was either sent or skipped for this to appear, however. Please let me know if you have ensured that this is the case, but that the upload option is still not appearing and I can look further.
