Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

Abstract View Error in OCS 2.0

Postby bsana » Wed May 13, 2009 1:19 pm

Hi,

Once we have posted the paper (after it has been reviewed and accepted for publication) in the "presentations" section, we see a link called "Abstract". When we click on it the following error occurs:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTrackTitle() on a non-object in /home/pendyala/domains/iatbr2009.asu.edu/public_html/ocs/cache/t_compile/%%71^71C^71CFB17E%%paper.tpl.php on line 101

Can you please help me fix this?

Thank you,
Bhargava

Hi Bhargarva,

Which version of OCS are you running? And can you try clearing your caches from the Site Administrator interface to see if that clears the problem up?

Cheers,
James

HI Barghava,

Try taking a look at the cache directory on your server to make sure that it's completely empty and that that file doesn't still exist: you should look in cache/t_compile. You can do this with an FTP client, or via SSH. In some cases, the Site Administrator's cache clearing options don't work on all files -- please let me know if the problem still persists.

Cheers,
James

Hi Bhargava,

What have you changed/deleted; and on which page are you getting the 404 error?

Cheers,
James
