Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

DB error on paper review

Postby Dragone » Thu Jul 17, 2008 6:51 am

Hi to all,
I have a problem with the review of the submission.
When a Director clicks on Complete button (Add the submission to the list of accepted Presentations) on the Paper Review page I have the following error
DB Error: ERROR: for SELECT DISTINCT, ORDER BY expressions must appear in select list
The url is
http://conferences.aepic.it/index.php/l ... nsAccepted
I use OCS 2.1.0.1 and Postgres 8.1.11

Thanks in advance for your help
Daniela

Hi Daniela,

Can you turn on the show_stacktrace option in config.inc.php and post the result here?

Hi Daniela,

Are you sure the stack trace option is enabled? The output above looks like the debug option is enabled, but not the stack trace.

Hi Daniela,

Can you try the patch at http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3729 and see if it fixes the problem?
