Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

Removing Paper Submissions, Edit, Review, etc. from system

I a working on an OCS installation. There are multiple conferences that need to go live soon.
These conferences have been pre-configured completely already. There is no need for call-for-papers, submissions, etc. How can I remove all these so that I just have a conference, whatever descriptions, registration, payment, and accommodation (removing "call for papers" etc.).

Hi therene8000,

For template changes, please see viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3301.

For OCS-specific instructions: to remove the call for papers, you'll have to modify your conference timeline so that the call for papers timeline is closed: it'll disappear from the Conference Information list. Similarly, if you close the submissions date, users will not be able to submit either.

You can further restrict how users can register with your system by manipulating Website Management Step 2.5 Access to Conference Presentations and Step 1.5 Archive Access Policy.
