What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:
1. Search the forum

to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

I am organizing a conference with many attendees from Taiwan. I just received a message from a spokesperson requesting that "Taiwan, province of China" in the user profile country drop down menu be altered to "Taiwan" only. Is there any practical way I could accommodate this request? Or some other workabound? There doesn't seem to be any way to leave country blank.

The Taiwan issue has come up before, and we have a post in the OJS FAQ about it, which explains why things work the way they do, and what individual journals/conferences can do to change it: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2481
