What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

(RESOLVED in 2.1) Patch userRegistrationForm for multilingue

When you have more than one language declared, OCS 2.0.0-1 shows an error message when a user want to register himself.

This patch avoid this problem :

Code: Select all
ocs-2.0.0-1/templates/registration/userRegistrationForm.tpl
line 233
before :   <input {$disableSnippet} type="checkbox" name="userLocales[]" id="userLocales-{$localeKey}" value="{$localeKey}"{if in_array($localeKey, $userLocales)} checked="checked"{/if} /> <label for="userLocales-{$localeKey}">{$localeName|escape}</label><br />

after:       <input {$disableSnippet} type="checkbox" name="userLocales[]" id="userLocales-{$localeKey}" value="{$localeKey}"{if $userLocales == null or in_array($localeKey, $userLocales)} checked="checked"{/if} /> <label for="userLocales-{$localeKey}">{$localeName|escape}</label><br />

Hi crihou2,

Many thanks for the report. I believe this has been fixed in CVS. You can view a specific history for that file here: http://pkp.sfu.ca/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/ocs2/t ... onForm.tpl

In addition, you can view the entire CVS tree for ocs2 from http://pkp.sfu.ca/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/ocs2/.

Again, many thanks,
James

Hi all,

I assume you're referring to the code that's now in /templates/user/createAccount.tpl (line 180) -- I couldn't seem to find the code you're referring to in /templates/registration/userRegistrationForm.tpl. If you're able to upgrade, when you do so, would you be willing to check this again and fill out a bug report if it still exists?

Thanks,
MJ

Hy mj

No I haven't seen code but the history file.

I'm not able to upgrade, and I prefer, in this moment, wait the 2.1 version
