What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

Conference Logo

Postby ozgur » Fri Feb 29, 2008 10:48 pm

Hi. I am having some difficulties on putting the conference logo. What size do you recommend for the logo? It would be easier if the picture is resized for the logo as it happens for 'cooperating organizations'.

Also, there is a space that cannot be used at the left, right and top of the region where title and logo are put. Is there a way to change the size of that region?

Thanks.

Hi Ozgur,

The main OCS stylesheet (styles/common.css) sets the header width at 800px, so if you want to add a logo and an image title, you'll want both of those to fit within 800px, along with some room for padding. I personally would restrict a logo to 100x100px max.

You can change the padding, proportions etc. of the header region by editing styles/common.css and changing the values for anything header-related. I don't mind giving some pointers if you have trouble.

Cheers,
James
