open access and presentation

Hi all,

we would like that, once the review process has been completed, the submitted documents would be readable even by non-authenticated users. Is this possible by means of some option, or we have to modify the code?

Hi Marco,

This is not a problem. Just make sure that, as Conference Manager, accepted papers and/or abstracts are posted to the site on the proper date/time, and are not protected by any sort of delayed open access. You can do this under User Home->Conference Manager->Conference Timeline; scroll down to the bottom of the page, and make sure the options you want are correctly set.

we had already tried to setup the flags you refer to.
But here's what happens and how we set the first three flags of the 'Website Posting' group in the timeline page:
- the first two flags are selected with a date before today
- regardless of how the third ('Delay open access until') flag is set (in the past, in the future or unflagged), an anonymous user can see the list of authors and publications but is referred to the login page when trying to access them. If I login as a accounted user (author, director, reviewer...) I can see and access them with no problem.

Is there any other setting we ignore?

I forgot to write this, but we have selected the 'Provide open access to all visitors to the website' option, of course.

We missed another setting in Conference Site Management > Website Management > Step 1.4 (Archive Access Policy)...

Good to hear you found that one! Tell you the truth, I had overlooked it too. We would've been going in circles for a while. So it's a learning experience for everyone today.
