printerFriendly and error 404

What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

printerFriendly and error 404

I just installed OCS v. 2.0.0-1 and everything has worked great except for the "Print version" option in the reading tools. I keep receiving a 404 error whenever I try to view a printable version of an abstract. I can't find mention of this in the forums so I would appreciate some guidance regarding a solution.

The Apache error log looks like this:

[error] [client 1.2.3.4] OCS: 404 Not Found, referer: http://server/meetings/index.php/meet/2 ... /viewRST/6

Alternatively, if someone has a method for generating Abstracts output suitably for inclusion in a paper-based program, that would solve the underlying problem.

To help debug the problem, I turned on the rest of the Reading Tools and it turns out that none of them work (About the author, How to cite item, etc.) All produce a "404 Not Found".

Hi Michael,

That's actually a bug. As a quick fix, if you enable the Related Items (go to Home > Conference Name > User > Conference Site Management > Reading Tools > Reading Tool Settings and choose a Related Items set from the drop-down menu) then the Reading Tools will work. I'll submit this as a bug, and hopefully there will be a fix soon.
