What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:
1. Search the forum

searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development
People have registered for our conference but forgot to register as an author. I assume that they cannot then submit an abstract. I can't seem to enroll existing users as authors. Where it says "Enroll user as ____", I can only select "Conference Manager." Why can't I enroll them as an author?

The enrollment page you're looking at is probably not associated with any particular Scheduled Conference; this is a confusing aspect of navigation that we'd like to improve in the future. The best way to enroll an existing user as an Author is probably to follow the "Authors" link in Conference Management and use the "Enroll Existing User" link at the bottom of that page.
