Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:1.
Search the forum. You can do this from the
Advanced Search Page or from our
Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we
especially recommend searching the forum for said error.
2.
Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.
3.
Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the
OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the
OCS Development subforum.

I'm wondering if this was an oversight? How can a director make a decision on a submission if he doesn't know what kind of submission it is? ie. For now, we are just differentiating between Single Paper and Panel Presentations.
Here is an example of a page that should probably display this data:
director/submission/{paperID}
I can make this data appear there myself, but I thought that it is something that should be fixed in the CVS.

I applied the patch, but I still don't see paperType displayed anywhere on the director's pages.

Happy new year. This has slipped pretty far down on the forum page. I'm still looking for help with this.

Hi Trudie,
Try the patch at
http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3230 and let me know how it turns out. (Try applying it --dry-run first to make sure it'll work -- the patch is written against pre-2.1 CVS. It simply involves moving a line of code down, so should be easy to back-port manually if necessary.)

I applied that patch, but I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method TrackDirectorSubmission::getTypeConst() in /1/var/www/html/IMRF/ocs/cache/t_compile/%%60^60D^60DAFB97%%management.tpl.php on line 34

Fixed the error - I just had to change getTypeConst() to getType()
