email passowrds

i have created user accounts (authors), and while creating them, have clicked the "Send the user a welcome email containing their username and password." However, when I view the email that is generated, there is no password listed - only their username.

Am I missing something?

Hi Paul,

Do you mean that the email is received but the password is blank, e.g.:

...

Username: (username here)
Password:

...

Hi Paul,

This email is a submission confirmation, not a new user notification. I suspect the email you're quoting is unrelated. Did you receive another message?
