Warnings after a clean install

Postby ozcelik » Tue Nov 20, 2007 9:58 am

Hi Alec,

I really appreciate your help so far. I have encountered a problem when I installed the OCS to a server of my friend. Installation went smoothly, but when I go to the website, I receive the following warnings at the top:

Warning: unlink(C:\...\cache\fc-pluginSettings-0-0-AcronPlugin.php) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\...\classes\cache\FileCache.inc.php on line 52

Warning: unlink(C:\...\cache\fc-pluginSettings-0-0-AcronPlugin.php) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\...\classes\cache\FileCache.inc.php on line 52

Warning: session_regenerate_id() [function.session-regenerate-id]: Cannot regenerate session id - headers already sent in C:\...classes\session\SessionManager.inc.php on line 209

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\...\classes\cache\FileCache.inc.php:52) in C:\...\classes\core\Request.inc.php on line 40

My friend is using PHP 4.4.3 and MySQL 4.1.22 with IIS 6 on Windows 2003 Server.

Thanks for your help again.

Regards,

Jason

Hi Jason,

This is a file permissions problem -- OCS doesn't have sufficient access to delete the listed files. See docs/README for a summary of the file permission requirements.

Thanks Alec.

I have figured out that the cache directory was not writable. After making it writable for USERS, the problem was solved.
