change email signatures

Hello,

I would like to change the principal contact information, the wrong info is going out on prepared emails.

$principalContactSignature

I can see how the signature is placed in the prepared emails, but how do I change the name of the principal contact, editorial contact etc. Can this be done through the menus available to the conference manager? Where/how is this information stored, and how can it be changed? If it has to be changed through some sort of server code, detailed instructions would be appreciated!

Hi Catherine,

The principal contact name should be on Scheduled Conference Setup page 1, which is available to Conference Managers.

Thanks, I couldn't find where this was. But the information that is in the principal contact field (1.3 under details for scheduled conference setup) isn't what is being used in the prepared emails. It appears that the Principal contact field is being used as the $editorialcontact, and I can't find where the $principalcontact info is. Any thoughts on this?

Hi Catherine,

There are a few fields that can be appended to the end of the email message. I'd suggest checking:

• Principal Contact on Scheduled Conference Setup page 1, as suggested above (section 1.3)
• Signature for the user account who is sending the message (see the user's Profile)
• Scheduled Conference email signature on Scheduled Conference setup page 1 (section 1.5)
