Hi,
First, thank you guys for creating such a wonderful software. I have a quick question about Paypal plugin.
After an author pays for the conference registration fee through Paypal, an orange button linking to ".../payment/plugin/Paypal/return" appears. If the user clicks on this button, it goes to that page where there appears only one word, "RETURN". I figured out that it has something to do with the file "...\plugins\paymethod\paypal\PayPalPlugin.inc.php". Is there a way to redirect the registrant to the main page of the OCS, instead of this blankish page by changing a couple of lines on this file? A line of code to achieve this will be greatly appreciated.

Oops! That's a debugging message that was temporarily added and should not have been included with the release. See http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3010 for information on the bug and how to fix it. The fix should send a returning user to the conference homepage.

I just updated this to work as Alex showed, but it still doesn't give reassurance to the user that paypal is now payed and they've registered. What's the best way to do this?

Hi Ale,
If you like, the line of code that was changed in the patch file can be removed, and code to display a generic "your payment has been received" message can be added instead. You can grep the PHP code for something referring to message.tpl for a quick example.
