Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:1.
Search the forum. You can do this from the
Advanced Search Page or from our
Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we
especially recommend searching the forum for said error.
2.
Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.
3.
Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the
OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the
OCS Development subforum.

Hi,
I have just downloaded ocs-2.0.0-1.tar.gz and installed it. It still identifies it self as 2.0.0.0 and suggests an upgrade. Minor glitch, but anyway.....

Hi Lars,
The most recent release is version 2.1.1, which is considerably newer than your version; I'd suggest upgrading if possible. The distinction between 2.0.0-0 and 2.0.0-1 won't cause any trouble.

Hi Alec,
Where would I find 2.1.1? On this page:
http://pkp.sfu.ca/ocs_download only 2.0.0_1 is available. And again my 2.0.0.0 installation suggest that that is the newest.
(Are you sure you are talking about OCS and not OJS?)
Regards
Lars

Hi Lars,
You're right -- I was talking about OJS. You have the current release; you can double-check your version by looking at dbscripts/xml/version.xml. As long as you downloaded and installed version 2.0.0-1, don't worry if your database identifies itself as version 2.0.0-0. There are no database changes between the two versions (and only very minor code changes).
