Changing "2.1 submission process"

What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

Changing "2.1 submission process"

We had originally set up a conference with 2.1 submission process set to

Abstract followed by proposal (2 rounds of review required; first for abstract, second for proposal)

The submission date has passed and we now have 900+ submissions to review
If we go back and change the submission process to "abstract only" will it create any conflict. The reason we now want to do this is because we have now decided that we would not be inviting the full paper uploads

Hi Bijou,

Unfortunately not -- that setting affects several aspects of the submission's lifecycle, and is affixed to the submission when the author begins it. Changing the setting in conference setup won't affect submissions that have already come in. Note that you don't have to go through the entire workflow if you don't want -- you can only follow the subset of the workflow that your conference needs.
