iOJS iPhone and Android app

We are using OJS: 2.3.3.-3

Installed the Plugin and downloaded the app on ipad. I noticed the issue regarding html codes in the abstract view have been sorted (thanks) as highlighted in my previous post.

Presently, we have view problems when 'view file' is selected in the app.

Once selected, the PDF (.pdf) seems to load on some articles whilst it doesn't load on others but not on all. It is consistently the same articles that doesn't want to load. The size of the PDF is not a the decision factor as file sizes with larger KB downloads fine.

We are thinking that code within the abstract is possibly preventing the PDF from loading. Can this be?

The app for all OJS versions since 2.3.x is the same. You only need the fitting gateway plugin.
Just go to page 1 of this thread, where I uploaded the gateway plugin for the OJS.

thank you tug, I tried with android but when type my journal url on the phone it displays error... I will also check with friend's iphone later.

As I can't install plugins normally, I can only manual install it, can you pls confirm the sql entries??
I have put
plugin-name: iPhoneGatewayPlugin
journal_id: 1 (my journal id)
setting_name: enabled
setting_value: 1
setting_type: bool

maybe I should put different entries to work??

the plugin is a gateway plugin. please move it to plugins/gateways and check the readme .try to access the gateway plugin using a browser.

if the gateway works you'll get a page like this: http://www.zfhe.at/index.php/zfhe/gatew ... in/journal

this works for me. I can see xml results of my journal.
But when I run the app from Iphone or android, OJS server could not be found......

I am afraid I have not installed it correctly, because I manual istall it.
I uploaded the plugin folder by ftp to plugins/gateway
and make the following sql entries.

plugin-name: iPhoneGatewayPlugin
journal_id: 1 (my journal id)
setting_name: enabled
setting_value: 1
setting_type: bool

is there anything missing??

hmmm, sorry for continueus posts, I managed to connect.
i was not putting the "http://" and when i put also this, it connects.
but the result isnot so good...

I can see 3 empty lines with no title, and when I go on article, it is impossible to go back, no "back" button.
mybe needs any update for ios6 ? or maybe bad installation from me??

if u're using a public server u can post your gateway or PM it and i'll check it on my app. i can't really tell if the problem is within the app otherwise. but as far as i know, non of my colleagues has any problems with ios 6

Sorry for the late reply.

I checked the xml output of the OJS plugin. The title is missing, but the plugin is running without an error message, so I can't tell what exactly is wrong. I recommend using die OJS debug mode and check if the debug output gives any clue, or take a look at the apache error logs. The plugin can also be debuged using the urls from the readme file and replacing the xml output within the php files with debug output.
