This simple plugin arose out of my need to constantly switch roles, and wanting to cut out a few steps from the process.
Install the plugin, and enable it from Setup->Step 5. Et voila, increased efficiency!

Hi,
I extracted this module into plugins/generic, and it made the appropriate plugins/blocks/... folder. I went to Journal Setup step 5 and see the "Role Select" block available in the right sidebar, but nothing shows up in the right sidebar. I went and cleared the data and templates cache, but still nothing appeared. I logged in and out and cleared Firefox's cache, and still the Role switching block does not appear in the right sidebar.
Am I missing something when you say to "enable" it in step 5?

Hi Ray,
Do you have more than one role? Also, you have to be in the context of a journal--it won't work at the site level.
