We have a number of articles we are soliciting and would like to track our interactions with the authors, track where they were solicited, what category of article is etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to track an article before it's actually submitted?
Thank you

Hi Andrea,
I'm not aware of anything specifically being used for this, but it sounds closely related to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Maybe something like that could meet your needs? Another great resource is the
Online Guide to Open Access Journal Publishing. Someone there might have some experience with this too. If you find a good solution, please share it with all of us on the forum here!
All the best,
Kevin
