I logged in as a journal manager. I then logged in as an author whose manuscript has been accepted, so it's in the editing stage. I wanted to correct an error in the abstract, but I was unable to do so.
After submission, does the author role permit updating of the article's metadata?

Hello thebigaym,
The author should be able to edit metadata at all times.
In the Editing stage, there should be a specific link for that purpose.
Otherwise, if you enter the Summary page, you should have access to that particular link as well.

Review Metadata
Each one is hyperlinked with the following URL
http://jima.imana.org/author/viewMetadata/8982
When I open that URL, I get this header and no opportunity to edit the Metadata.

Hi thebigaym,
That is as it should be -- authors cannot edit the metadata of published articles. Any changes to a submission's metadata after publication must be made by the editor, from the editor's interface.
