We are having a problem reordering our journal’s table of contents. While in the Editor role clicking on the arrow next to the article jumps us to the Editor homepage instead of reordering the TOC. We have three sections and this problem occurs in two of them. The other section works fine. This problem has not happened in previous journal issues. Is there a settings problem? A bug? Is a patch needed? Any ideas to fix this?

You may be running into the following: http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4554. If that patch doesn't apply, could you tell us which version of OJS you are using?

Thanks for the info. We would like to add that patch and fix this problem. However, the patch is for version 2.2 and we are currently running version 2.3.5. Is there an updated patch for this version and how can I get it?
Our server person just informed me that he reviewed the 2 files the patch modifies and found the code is already included in the version we are running. Is there more or different code patch for 2.3.5?

There doesn't seem to be any changes to this code since 2.3.5. Are you seeing any errors in your error log when you get redirected?

I had to put this problem on hold for a bit while we published the journal. We used the default settings of the table of contents and did not do any reordering. Now I would like to go back and resolve this problem before the next issue comes up on us.
The error log was looked into and we found nothing to indicate this problem. However, the database has a bug and and we will be updating a patch for it. I'm attaching the error log. Perhaps you can see something we are missing.

It looks like there may have been an issue when you upgraded OJS. This can be resolved by going into the 'versions' table of your DB, finding the rows where product_type is 'core' and product is 'ojs2', and setting the value 'current' to 0 for the older of the two versions (check the major/minor/revision columns). I'm not sure if that will fix your problem, but this version error could lead to several issues.
