How can we prepare another templates for editor's decision?

We are using OJS version 2.2.3 for our journal “International Journal of CAD/CAM (http://www.ijcc.org)”. We are having the following problem:

1. In the e-mails records (prepared e-mails) there is only one template for Editor’s decision on a paper. And that is acceptance e-mail. However, in decisions there are three options: accept, revisions required, and reject. Our question is how can we prepare templates for each decision separately and link them automatically.

Kindly let us know how this problem can be solved?

Hi Kim,

You may want to upgrade: OJS 2.3+ includes templates for each Editor Decision, although they are still shipped largely blank, for you to fill out personally.

Dear Sir,

We have tried to upgrade by installing “ojs-2.2.4_to_2.3.1-2(1).patch”. The files have been stored in the same directory. However, the following problem is happening and the message appears:

The file cannot be opened.
File: ojs-2.2.4_to_2.3.1-2(1).patch

You should select a program that can open the file. You should select the following option.

(1) Search on-line program,
(2) Select a program from list of installed programs.

Hi Kim,

You'll need some sort of patch utility to properly use the patch file. There are different utilities available for all operating systems. If you do decide to upgrade, make sure you make backups, and otherwise read the full documentation in docs/UPGRADE.
