Sir,

I have a problem with this.
They can't able to access their account because of IP address problem.
What else can we do to solve this problem.
What IP address should be in the IP Address Field? Is that really the problem?

Hi honey_doll02,

The institution must provide you with an IP Address, or a range of IP addresses, if you use IP-based authentication for subscriptions. You may also want to try domain-based authentication, so they can log in using eg. sfu.ca.

Hi honey_doll02,

I'm not sure I follow the exact problem, but if you're being asked for an IP address or domain for a subscription with subscription type that is print-only, please note that this is a bug that has recently been fixed.

You can find the full bug description as well as patch that fixes it here.

If you're not able to patch your installation or wish to upgrade at a later time, for the time being you should be able to enter some default text into the domain field in order to save the subscription. For example, something like "mytempdefault.com" -- really any text that is not an actual domain should allow you to save the subscription.
