DEar all,
We have a problem of getting forced to change the password of the users account when they first login. How do you disable this? Or is this is a bug and how to remove it?
Thanks for the help.
Best Regards,
Alias

Hi Alias,
It depends on how the users are being created. If the Journal Manager is creating users manually using the Create New Users link, then there is a button that can be checked/unchecked that forces new users to change their password when first logging in; but that isn't checked by default. Users registering themselves shouldn't ever be forced to change their password on first logging in. Users imported via the import/export plugin shouldn't be required to change their password either, I don't think. If you can provide more detail on how these users are being created, I can provide more assistance.
Cheers,
James
