We welcome general questions about the role of OJS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions.

2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OJS basics as time goes on.

3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OJS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Hi nileshdac,

To remove the search options, you will have to do two things:

1. disable the Navigation block under Journal Setup Step 5.6. This will remove the Search and Browse options from the sidebar.

2. Edit templates/common/navbar.tpl, and remove the line that creates the search link:

Code: Select all
<li id="search"><a href="{url page="search"}">{translate key="navigation.search"}</a></li>

Cheers,
James
