I’m setting up a journal where some volumes covers a two year period, for example: vol 25-26 (2001-2002). The fields on the create issue page only allows one year and one volume number. Is there a way to get around this? And my second question is if one can move the issues manually in a list the same way you can do with the articles?
You can choose what type of identification issues will use in Journal Setup, step 4. Select Custom Issue Title and save the settings. Now you can identify issues however you want as a free-form text field.
Issues are sorted by number, volume, and year; there isn't a way to arrange them with up and down arrows like articles. I suggest you assign number, volume and year so that the issues are displayed in the correct order, even though a custom issue title will be used in place of this information.
