Forum rules
This forum is meant for general questions about the usability of OJS from an everyday user's perspective: journal managers, authors, and editors are welcome to post questions here, as are librarians and other support staff. We welcome general questions about the role of OJS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions.

What to do if you have general, workflow or usability questions about OJS:

1. Read the documentation. We've written documentation to cover from OJS basics to system administration and code development, and we encourage you to read it.

2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OJS basics as time goes on.

3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OJS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

error when accessing the submission review page

Postby Jason » Fri Aug 05, 2005 1:07 pm

I am getting an error on the submission review page. Steps 1 and 2 are displayed on the submission review page, but the rest of the page is cut off because of an error. The error I get is:

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Group\\Apache2\\htdocs\\ojs-2.0.1\\templates\\t_compile\\%%F6^F6A^F6A41EDF%%submission.tpl.php on line 155

I noticed this question was asked previously, but the poster never responded to the follow-up question (Does the submission have a "review version" specified?).

This is review round #1. Is that the same as the review version?

The review version of the submission file is designated in Submission Review by the section editor.

Technically the system shouldn't allow you to initiate a review if a review version has not been specified, but there was a bug where "Initiate All Reviews" could still be used (even though individual review requests could not be sent).
