Last week we launched another OJS-based journal:
For our e-journals, we use a modified version of OJS. Among the modifications are full-text search, XML export, MODS/METS/MARC metadata, RSS feed, and a database-driven content management system with a WYSIWYG Editor.
For each published article the e-journal generates an XML object for our Digital Library Repository, which is based on 'Fedora' - http://www.fedora.info/
. The XML object contains information enabling the generation of a Persistent Identifier (PID) for each published article. We are running a Handle server for the PID's. You can see one of these 'handles' here:
and the corresponding Fedora record here: http://www2.scc.rutgers.edu/dlr/showfed ... s-lib:3414
