Last week we launched another OJS-based journal:

For our e-journals, we use a modified version of OJS. Among the modifications are full-text search, XML export, MODS/METS/MARC metadata, RSS feed, and a database-driven content management system with a WYSIWYG Editor.
For each published article the e-journal generates an XML object for our Digital Library Repository, which is based on 'Fedora' - http://www.fedora.info/. The XML object contains information enabling the generation of a Persistent Identifier (PID) for each published article. We are running a Handle server for the PID's. You can see one of these 'handles' here:

We welcome general questions about the role of OJS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions.

1. Read the documentation. We've written documentation to cover from OJS basics to system administration and code development, and we encourage you to read it.
2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OJS basics as time goes on.
3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OJS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.
