Hello,
I have been testing the OJS software over the last couple of days and I'm mystified as to why not all authors get "indexed" by the software.
Hopefully there's an explanation...
Regards,
Helen

Maybe you do not have the "Added to an Author Index" option selected for some sections?

Hi Kevin,
I checked this out and I have selected the "Added to an Author Index" option. Any more suggestions?

dear Guest,
Usually the author is indexed automatically when the article is published. You may be using another login name to make the publication for that author, and then entering the author information there.
If you're doing so, you will need to update the database with the correct author code in tblauthorstoarticles. You will need the author id from tblusers and the article id from tblarticles.
If you're login in the system as the author that should not occur, as version 1.1.8 adds co-authors to the user list.
