Hi. Sorry, but have tried editing sql using trailing slash, and still same msg after trying to upload file:

It appears you do not have a complete path specified for the "files path" setting (chFilesPath in tbljournalconfig). It should be something like " /home/textopoe/aqr/" (note the complete path specification and trailing slash.

I have also problems when uploading file. I have controlled home directory and trailing slashes, but still the above error msgs. Any help?

You should not edit the sql, but edit the configuration in the journal setup.
What Kevin mentioned happens during the installation of OJS (if not mistaken it´s step 3 or 4).
You may edit directly in the database if you have access to it, changing the field chFilesPath to "files/path/". The system needs the final slash (trailing slash) because it creates the folders in the server for the submission files.
You may also rerun install.php, skip the unnecessary steps and change only what is needed. Be careful with the password salt!!. You may want to copy it for protection.
