Revisions required on a papers problems

Hi all,
I'm using OCS 2.1.2.1 in "abstract followed by presentation" mode. It's now the time for me to tell the authors if their papers are accepted, revisions required or declined. Accepted and declined papers are working correctly but for revisions required status I get the following problem: the reviewers (including their reviews) disapears and it looks like this status applies to the abstract and not the full-paper because when I want to sent the notification message to the author the message is the one for abstract revisions!

I've found this patch: http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4481 (Abstract followed by presentation workflow issues) which seems to be similar to my problem but I'm not using OCS 2.3!

It's really annoying to get this kind of problem at this stage of a conference so I hope to find some help here.... all advices are welcome!

Hi ponsfrilus,

This looks to be a fairly early, pre-2.3 patch -- it may apply cleanly to your 2.1.2 install. I'd recommend trying to patch your system using the --dry-run option first, and if all looks good, applying the patch. Otherwise, a workaround would be to choose Revisions Required, and then bump the submission back to Paper review.

I'm not sure this is working because as far as I test it's not possible to bump submission back to Paper review maintaining paper, reviewer's comment and email.

I'll try an upgrade and I'll make more comment here afterwards.
