What to do if you have general, workflow or usability questions about OCS:

1. Read the documentation. We've written documentation to cover from OCS basics to system administration and code development, and we encourage you to read it.

2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OCS basics as time goes on.

3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OCS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

I have created a tab that should lead to a list of abstracts and I have created a link in the announcements section which should lead to a registration form.

But after I logged out and pretend to be just an interested person, the access is denied and a login constantly required.
Does everyone who just wants to access the data on the webpage have to get a login?

When I log in as a guest not admin, and click on the abstract tab, the page springs back to the user home, same with the registration form.

What can I do to guarantee access without forcing people to create an account first?

and finally, how do I know the site is actually online?

Hi Kataro,

You should probably check your access settings: they are available from Conference Manager -> Website Management -> Step 2.5.
