Submission inReview blank!!!!

Postby cvveIT » Fri Nov 13, 2009 12:34 pm

I am having an issue with my OCS. Up until today it was working normal. My users recieved the following error starting today:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /var/www/ocs/classes/core/ArrayItemIterator.inc.php on line 134

After searching for a solution, the solution I found was to increase the memory_limit option in the php.ini file. After doing so, the director/submissions/submissionsInReview page is now completely blank (there is no text, nothing). I reset the php.ini file back to the default (16M) and it still hasn't fixed itself. I have restart apache as well.

Any advice would be great. I am clueless on where to look next for this solution.

Note: I have 2 conferences on my site, this is only affecting the current conference. The old conference director page works normal.

Hi cvveIT,

You may be running into a separate error with the blank page. I'd suggest retrying the increase of PHP's memory_limit, restarting the server, and then seeing if any error is reported to your Apache error log when you navigate to that page. Let us know what's reported.

That is what I did to get the blank page.

Got the fatal error the first time, then I incraesed the memory limit, restarted server, and then got the blank page.

Ended up getting it working though, i think it was a fluke. For some reason, i reset everything back, tried the memory limit increase again, restarted, and it worked.

Thanks for the reply!
