Open Access publisher Ubiquity Press (http://www.ubiquitypress.com) is hiring.

We use OJS extensively and are testing the waters with OMP. We're looking for both front and back end developers (http://www.ubiquitypress.com/workingatup), however I see the front end developer as having a firm grasp of PHP as, besides being responsible for the look, feel and usability of our journals, they will occasionally need to be mucking around inside OJS innards. HTML/CSS/JS and general HTTP/web development experience is a given.

The backend developer will require working knowledge of Python as a minimum as we also use Python, Fabric and Django extensively to automate management tasks, integrate with OJS and aggregate+display data. System administration or experience with optimization and scaling also looked upon favourably.

Experience with OJS, Open Access or publishing in general is not a prerequisite for either position but pay is commensurate with experience!

No remote workers, thank you.
