Query regarding OAI base url

Hello people,
I am using pkp harvester ohs2.3.2. I want to add archive from koha. But when i save the form ,i get the error as "The specified oai-base url is not valid". whereas with the same url I am able to access oai-pmh records in xml form in my browser.

the url i m entering in pkp Add archive is http://locahost

Oai base url is: http://locahost/cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl/request



Kindly help me out ASAP...

Hi neha,

Your URL contains "locahost" when it should probably be "localhost".

Sir,

Sorry ,but it was just a typing mistake in our previous post ,problem is not about the spelling of localhost. We have entered the following address as Oai base url and all the urls are showing this Error

"""The specified OAI URL is not valid. Please check the URL and try again."""

Oai base url :

http://localhost/cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl/request

http://localhost/cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl/re ... b=Identify


PS: when we click Fetch Archive metadata,it is taking the koha admin email and Metadata Format Correctly,but it is not fetching the title of library and on clicking on save it is showing us the above mentioned error.

And Our pkp harvester works perfectly fine for DSpace Oai Base Url,but it is not working for koha.
So kindly help us out ASAP.

Hi Neha,

Is that Koha installation available externally so that I can query it via the OAI interface?
