Hi
I'm setting up our first journal and have been editing a few of the prepared emails. My problem is that when the system sends out these emails my edited text is not picked up - the default text is used. Does this mean that we can only use our own saved text to manually send emails to users?
As an example I'm looking at the 'Notify users' when a new issue is published. I seem to have successfully managed to save a change to the subject line but not the main body of text.
Can anyone help please?
thanks

Hi adiqmu,
Which version of OJS are you using? I can't seem to replicate this in OJS 2.3.6. Can you also confirm that when you return to the email template in the Prepared Emails listing, you still see your modifications?
Cheers,
James

Hi James
Thanks for your reply. I actually think I've sorted it out now - was a combination of my lack of understanding how it worked and us using an older version.
We're now on 2.3.6 and seems to be fine.
