PKP Conference 2009: Live Feeds

Postby jmacgreg » Tue Jul 07, 2009 11:17 pm

Hi all,

We're just about ready to start the International PKP Scholarly Publishing Conference 2009 (http://pkp.sfu.ca/ocs/pkp/index.php/pkp2009/pkp2009). If you can't make it to the PKP Conference in person, you will be able to watch selected sessions online. We will be live streaming content on Wednesday night for John's keynote and throughout Thursday and Friday. For more information on the sessions, see the conference program.

Room 1900 Webcast:

Requirements For Viewing Quicktime Streaming Video Webcasts

Quicktime 7 is required to view SFU's streaming video webcasts. Please ensure you have the most recent version of the free Quicktime player, and that your computer meets the minimum system requirements. A high speed internet connection is also required (minimum 500kbps ADSL or Cable).

Roving Webcast:

And although watching us on the internet is just fine, registration is still open for all workshops, including the free hackfest -- so if you're in town and haven't yet registered, why not drop by? We're much less pixilated that way.

Cheers,
James
