Changing the form in author submissions

Postby sumpcre » Fri Jun 20, 2014 12:08 pm

Hello All! I'm a little stumped. I've been trying to find the place I can change the fields (at least the field names) in step three of the author submission process. For example our editor would like to ask authors (who will be undergraduate students) to give the name of their professor/advisor. He is okay with doing this as a replacement for an existing field. I've gone through the locale plug in and I just can't find it. Is this something I have to find in the PHP? Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Nicole,

That would be a modification. See the threads discussed here for some information on how to approach it.
