OAI Validation problem

Postby mayuso » Wed Mar 26, 2014 12:33 pm

Hallo again,
When i check the output of the oai verb ListRecord, I get no response, and empty page is the result, however I get right results with other verbs.

I have asked Simeon Warner (because I thought it could be an utf-8 character problem), and he told me the problem could be the way we get data in our ojs journal.
Our ojs journal is www.relat.org. I wrote an css for changing the style, and the font we use unicode font, other than OJS installation fonts. We use Palatino Linotype, Arial Unicode and Georgia.

Could you help me to solve this question?
Thanks.

Hi mayuso,

Have you checked your error log? There's instructions on what to do with blank pages in the OJS FAQ.

Hi Alec,

Thanks for your help. I have new problems: error-log file is huge, >600 MB, so I can't edit. Anyway I have seen this repeated message:

Message: WARNING: Cannot use a scalar value as an array
In file: /home/relatorg/public_html/relat/classes/journal/JournalSettingsDAO.inc.php
At line: 77
Stacktrace:
Server info:
OS: Linux
PHP Version: 5.3.15
Apache Version: N/A
DB Driver: mysql
DB server version: 5.1.65-cll

Questions:
What does that message mean and What must I do about it?
May I empty the file? should I have a backup copy of error-log file?
Thanks in advance

Hi mayuso,

You may empty out the log file if you like -- most servers have a system configured to automatically rotate out old log entries.

That message probably isn't responsible for the blank pages; there are other posts about that message in the forum and how to resolve it. I'd suggest searching for those.
